A Slight Change in the Peanut Lineup

Okay, so I have decided to use my real Blogger identity since Rob convinced me it would be much more fun not to give this link to my parents. I'm not really worried about who else might find me.

Plus, I meant to tell you, fellow peanuts, that I've given you administrator rights if you wanna mess with the html, etc. If you wanna see stats on the blog, I'll give you my login for StatCounter - just email me - though I doubt anyone really cares but me...

Shall we invite Condi herself to join?

Woot!

Welcome, Lady! It wouldn't have been the same without you, so I'm glad you're here. Tee hee - drunken peanut adventures await!

(Sadly, I bet drunken peanuts is some weird-ass Southern dish... must consult the Souther Living cookbook when I get home...)

All aboard the Peanut express!

Lady has officially climbed aboard the peanut reunion tour train and eagerly anticipates the arrival of her nut-tastic companions on the easterly edge of the Atlantic. Look out Europe, Condi Peanut and her gang are on their way!

Peanuts & Pints

I had a pint of Young's Double Chocolate Stout at trivia last night, which got me all excited about having it closer to the source when I get to London! We can't tour the Ram Brewery because it was booked up over three months in advance, but I'll be damned if I don't have an imperial pint of the good stuff whilst I'm there! (And kudos to my local pub for serving it in imperial pints, authentic stamps to boot!)

Rob and I do plan to tour a local brewery in Amsterdam, but I'll wait until we're there to tell you about it. As long as we're not going to the damn Heineken Experience, I'm happy... Why would I want to pay to tour a defunct brewery of a beer I don't particularly like? Plus, this one is free and doesn't require reservations (or that you make them three monhts in advance...ahem...) - extra points to Brouwerij 't IJ!

And though it doesn't fall under the 'pint' category, I hope that Rob, Lady, and I will sample as many of the wines of Hungary as possible... we may be staggering all over the streets of Budapest during the days and nights we're there, but it'll be worth it! (And perhaps Magyar will come more easily once we're intoxicated???)

Nut number two, reporting for duty!

I am totally bought on! Now, if we can only achieve that elusive triple peanut (you know, the long one with the extra nut inside) we will be making peanut history!!!

A Blog is Born

I just had the crazy idea to create a blog with multiple authorship for the Condoleezza Peanut Reunion Tour (or whatever we are officially calling it today).... If my fellow travelers bite, we've got ourselves a blog!
